Tom Mendola (Tucson)   Sutras, Sound, Self  & Sangha

Tom Mendola is a student of yoga psychology and a promoter of the evolution of human nature. He is currently working with the Harmony and Health Foundation, Arizona Yoga Association and Terra Sante Community in that pursuit. You are cordially invited to inquire, participate, and network with these organizations. He is a practitioner in the emerging field of yoga psychology which utilizes Patanjali's yoga sutras and the panchamaya koshas in its rich tool box.  Tom has studied Vipassana Meditation, Integrative Yoga Therapy, Ayurvedic psychology and various pranic and sound healing modalities to create his unique approach to health and wellbeing. With a personal yoga practice of 26 years, Tom is inspired by how meditation can bring peace, harmony and a conscious recognition of the 'flow of tranquility' into the seemingly coincidences of everyday life. Tom Mendola is the author of three yoga related articles, "Remember Who You Are", "Core issues" and "Progressing on the Path".

this class is free flowing,..with some asana..
  and is good preparation for the yoga and dance class that follows,
