Sukhawat Ali Khan - Vocals, Harmonium
Sukhawat (sue-ka-vat) represents the family lineage of the 600-year-old Sham Chorasi traditional school of music, which was established during the reign of Emperor Akbar of India. His training in both classical raga and Sufi Qawwali singing began at the age of seven under his father, legendary Pakistani/Indian vocalist Ustad Salamat Ali Khan. A San Francisco Bay Area resident, Sukhawat teaches this musical style and performs concerts for dance and world music lovers everywhere.

Geoffrey Gordon - Drums, Percussion, Vocals
Geoffrey was initiated into yoga practices 38 years ago. He completed yoga teacher training and became a Hatha Yoga teacher in 1972. Beginning in 1975 he studied tabla with Ustad Allarakha. He studied North Indian Classical music with Ustad Ali Akbar Khan. As well as being a professional musician playing on the Broadway stage, on numerous CDs, major movie soundtracks, and concerts worldwide, Geoffrey has worked extensively on CDs and tours with Jai Uttal, Ram Dass, Krishna Das, and Bhagavan Das. He is currently the resident musician and kirtan leader at Vibrant Living Yoga Teacher Training with Daniel Aaron in Ubud Bali. www.geoffreygordon.com

Stephen Kent - Didgeridoo, Percussion
Stephen is a multi-instrumentalist and composer, one of the premier Didgeridoo virtuosos in the contemporary world. Born in England and raised in East Africa, his career spans well over 2 decades. After living at various times in Australia, Spain and the UK, he is now based in San Francisco. Stephen has pioneered the modern day use of the ancient Australian Aboriginal instrument collaborating with mutiple group projects across cultural boundaries. He has worked with extraordinary musicians around the planet including Airto Moreira (Brazil), Zakir Hussain (India), Habib Koite (Mali), Zap Mama (Belgium,Congo), Chirgilchin (Tuva), Samulnori (Korea), Leonard Eto (Japan), Omar Sosa (Cuba), Paul Horn, Glen Velez, Del Sol Quartet (USA), and countless others. Stephen hosts a weekly radio show “Music of the World” on Pacifica Radio’s KPFA for the past 14 years. www.stephenkent.net
