Jade Twilite Beall fell in love with West African dance when she was 15.
She had always been a dancer, but had difficulty connecting to the so called
traditional styles; ballet and modern.  Her very first west African Dance
class changed her life forever. A dream was realized in 2005 when she
got invited to study with various teachers from the National Ballet of
Guinea, in Guinea, West Africa and did so for five weeks.  In 2007/2008,
she returned to study again with the National Ballet of Guinea and
Moustapha Bangoura for 2 months.
Jade has been teaching West African dance since 2002
in Taos, New Mexico and at Anjali in Tucson, Arizona since 2007.   
Jade hopes to challenge, inspire and help set the beautiful body free for her students in her dance classes.

West African Yoga Dance

Jade wll teach traditional dance from Guinea, West Africa infused with
modern choreography. This is a class for all levels and dance interests.
Beginning with yoga postures as a warm-up,  Jade creates a safe, welcoming
and unintimidating class. Students focus on their own personal experience
and dance like nobody's watching. This class is an opportunity to open
 the HEART through the related yoga movements, the dance and the drums.
It will be fun and invigorating, opening the channels towards enhanced
self-discovery.
