Dean Evenson, MS & Dudley Evenson are award-winning musicians and sound healing pioneers who have been practicing yoga since 1970. They have produced over 60 albums through their label 'Soundings of the Planet' which they founded in Tucson, Arizona in 1979. With a Masters in Molecular Biology and a half-century of flute playing, Dean has been able to combine his scientific and artistic backgrounds to create music that supports people in their healing or life process. Dudley is a harpist, writer, photographer and media artist. Their flute and harp music with natural sounds is extremely popular with yoga and healing arts practitioners worldwide. It is endorsed by Massage Magazine and mind-body authors Deepak Chopra, Joan Borysenko, Larry Dossey, Iyanla Vanzant, James Van Praagh and Grammy award-winning singer Naomi Judd. The Evensons are currently working with Walter Reed Army Medical Center to provide music for wounded troops returning from combat. After a long day of yoga, this exciting evening event will allow participants to integrate what they have learned by tuning into all their chakras. Since it is Valentine’s Day, there will be special focus on opening the Heart Chakra. Through music, toning, mantra, mudras and call and response affirmations, sound healing pioneers Dean and Dudley Evenson will guide the evening in a beautiful ceremony of healing. Visuals are drawn from their many years of videotaping in India, Tibet, Native American gatherings, natural ecosystems and sacred art.

Dean and Dudley draw from three decades of experience in this dynamic, interactive workshop on sound healing principles and practices to enhance the function of the chakras. Using music, toning, Tibetan bowls, mudras and breath, participants will experience deep meditation to help balance the chakras. Energizing group games and sound and movement exercises release inner creativity. This experiential and fun workshop offers tools and techniques to use on a daily basis for health and spiritual well being.
